Gentoo

I'm currently looking at getting linux Gentoo, what is everyones thoughts on it?

Ran it for about 4 years and then switched to Ubuntu, mainly because it has too much upkeep with updating packages. Since I was lazy, I'd put off updating till I needed something, and then I'd often have to manually deal with broken/blocked packages, which was a fucking pain. Binary-based distros make package management much easier and faster.
