Windows won't start

Whenever I start my computer the windows boot shows a screen long set of bars, it instantly goes to about 6 bars short of the finish line and then freezes. Anyone have an idea of what is causing this and how to fix it?

Insert windows install disc. Hit repair. Problem solved.
