I've spent the last 4 hours trying to install my newly purchased copy of Quicktime Pro in the hope that it will fix whatever is causing my current version of Quicktime to crash the computer whenever some .mov files are played. However in the process, I've discovered that Quicktime Pro refuses to install until it can locate an "available" copy of the Quicktime.msi file (appearantly the version I have on my hard drive is "unavailable" dispite the fact I can look right at it). To make matters even more annoying, attempting to uninstall my previous version of Quicktime is met with the computer going "ZOMG, sorry dave, I'm afraid I can't do that, LOL!". Of course, all the tech support from Apple tells me to do is "Make sure your monitor is turned on correctly" and "Be sure to click the play button to make sure it's not just paused.". So for the entire foreseeable future I'm stuck with an AIDS infested copy of Quicktime. I don't want help or advice, I just wanted to vent a little. Anybody with me?

That's good enough for me, it seems Macs are so full of AIDS that a single program made by the same company is all it takes to fuck up an otherwise healthy PC. I wish I wasn't forced to use quick-time for work, there's got to be better programs out there than Apple produced viruses.
oh and FYI. the internet was only made public because world govts were/are too fucking lazy to scan the usenet (the old form of internets) and they had no control over usenet (at that stage) and bbs's.
the day internet 2 is introduced is the day i reopen the bbs's...
