MiniDisc?

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-18 23:04

Does anyone still use a MiniDisc player, specifically the NetMD kind (up to five hours of music per disc)?  Mine has fallen into disuse because I got fed up with the SonicStage software.  It eventually became much easier to just copy MP3 files onto an SD card for playback in my Palm rather than import into SonicStage, then do that gay "check out" to the MD player.

Long sotry short, I would still like to use my MD player, and I was wondering if anyone here knew of any software to transfer MP3's to it.  All I was able to find on Google were articles or forum posts from five years ago.

I had one, and quite a bunch of discs too, but it was stolen/went missing two years back. I bought a shiny mp3 player instead, and I haven't regretted it a second. (And I made sure the mp3-player had all the features I liked about the minidisc, such as high quality recording, good battery life, so on and so forth)

SonicStage usually crashes or it BSODs while writing to the MD. I'm still using it for now (avoiding doing anything with SonicStage unless absolutely necessary) until I can get a nice HD player.

I'd also prefer just being able to copy files to a card or removable drive instead of using shit software.

MD is still nice and all, but it's pretty much abandoned.
