Vista, sound and possibly iTunes

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-01 9:23

I got Vista a couple days ago and so far the only problem I've had has to do with media players.

When I first turn on my computer, everything runs fine. Music plays or movies play. But sometimes, after I pause a video or song, and try to start playing it again, it won't play. The play button looks like it's playing (> turns into ||), but the progress bar isn't moving and I can't hear anything or see anything. Then when I try to play a game, there's no sound.

I'm guessing it has something to do with iTunes, because it usually happens after I stop playing a song on it. Anyone else have a similar problem?

I prefer Windows media player classic for videos. That will play ANY video if you have the codecs for it. As for music, I prefer WinAmp. But I am just crazy like that. Though media player classic shouldn't be confused with Windows Media Player, what ever number they are up to now. I am talking about the first and best one that came with windows 98. I have no idea why they ever changed it.
