THX, Dolby Digital, & DTS

I've been looking at buying some new 5.1 speakers for my computer, and right now my eyes are on the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1. However, I would also like to use these speakers for my home theatre setup, but I realize these are just basic analog 5.1 speakers, which means no THX, Dolby Digital, DTS, etc... etc... Media such as DVDs or video game consoles DO use Dolby/DTS, so would these speakers really lose any grade by not directly supporting these?

If your DVD player and game console has speaker outputs, you won't loose any audio quality, since they should be able to support Dolby straight to the speakers. The only really important thing to remember is that nowadays any speaker setup that has a powerlevel of less than nine thousand is just a bad buy.
