To Much Shit Not Enough Connection

I have my 3 consoles running into a hydra hook up to a switch box thing that goes to the tv. *_*

I was going to hook it all up to my stereo but...I ran out of ins and outs...

If none of that makes sense it is ok.

My question is: Can you splice the audio outs from a console with audio cable from a stereo?

Just wondering, it wouldn't be too much trouble just to get a multi-port switch box thing.

I even have the s-video out of a bunch of consoles (and my DVD player and my computer) spliced together.  As long as you only keep one turned on (or TV output turned on in the computer's case) it works fine.  Audio out you wouldn't even have to do that, could have multiple working at once (the mono/stereo RCA kinds anyway).  Switches are just a useless pain in the ass.
