Lol'd at the previous responses. Here's my opinion
1. Boring Champions
There's no one really that notable that the common person would know of. Other than Pacman, Mayweather, and the Klitschko brothers the average person wouldn't recognize the name of a champion. Sad really.
2. Boring Fights
Too many fights end up going o the judges, people don't like that.
3. Too many Weight Classes
Back in the day it wouldn't be uncommon to fight someone around 10 pounds over your weight. Who ever won was obviously the better boxer. But now you have 3 different subweight classes per weight class. They should consolidate a bunch of them to like this: Heavyweight, Light Heavy, Middle, Welter, Light, Feather,Bantam, Fly
4. Too many organizations
How many governing bodies in boxing are there now? There's so many champions in certain weight classes its hard to keep up. Kind of goes along with the point I made in #3
Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, Alexander Povetkin, Denis Lebedev, Krzysztof Włodarczyk, Marco Huck, Nathan Cleverly, Mikkel Kessler, Stanyslav Kashtanov, Robert Stieglitz, Ricky Burns, Evgeny Gradovich, and Scott Quigg are all current boxing champions in various organizations and weight classes. They're all unquestionably white.
