Too many huge egos; too many prima donas; too many Geordies thinking that because Newcastle is a big, proud city, with a big, proud tradition (blah, blah, blah), there is an entitlement to success. Doh!!
Newcastle's recent history of managerial incompetence, complete absence of business acumen, 'headless chicken' attitude to the transfer market, & an endemic inability to accept the facts and harsh realities of life in general, & the football world, in particular, has rendered them what they are: a pathetic joke, & laughing stock of the entire British footballing world.
The glory days are but a distant and bitter memory.
