I am 21 and I can't swim. I have free access to a swimming pool for a month, and I need to start. I need tips. What do I do? I can't even float. Any guides out there?

Uh, start off in a pool where you can't actually drown. Spend a day in there, and you can swim. Right? Hrm, I don't know, I can't remember not being able to swim.
