In this thread you post Ascii Art while testing it to make sure things line up correctly, so that you can post it correctly in the thread you want without making that particular thread suck.

If you have Microsoft IME installed, you can call up symbols easily by typing a keyword like one of the following, and then pressing SPACE. To do so, you must be in hiragana mode.

例えば昔ヘッドホンステレオを総称して「ウォークマン」と呼んでたり

あなたが言いたいことはよ〜く、理解出来ます。
しかし、ヘッドホンステレオもウォークマンも中身のもの(機械）は同じ働きですから、
別に呼び名が違っていても、違和感はありません。
つまり、この場合呼び名は違うが中身は同じですから問題ではありません。

AA(アスキーアート)とJISアートの件は、そのものの働きが違う(文字形体)し、中身の働きが違う。
AAの件は、呼び名の問題もさることながら、日本語掲示板では、AA(アスキーアート)は掲載出来ない仕組みに成っているのであり、文字絵の呼び名の問題だけではないのです。
日本語掲示板の場合はハッキリとAA(アスキーアー)は掲載出来ない旨の記載があります。

掲載することも不可能です。AAとJISアートは文字体系(システム)が違う為に交換性がありません。
AA(アスキーアート)は1バイトのみの文字絵で、漢字やカナ文字はありません、それに比べ
2ちゃんねるはじめ日本語掲示板の文字絵は2バイト文字も1バイト文字も漢字やカナ文字もあります。

なぜ、日本人はこんなことも理解出来ないかと言うと、、、日本の教育(教育基本法)方針は、
、「問題があり答えがある」、と教えますが、、、こんな教えは、間違いを侵し易いのです。

What system are you running on and what browser are you using? That would help anyone who can actually help you with this. I never had a problem with it, but I'm on MacOSX 10.2.8 and Firefox, so I'm not going to be of much help. 2ch's Ascii art viewer page is currently down because it got flooded again, so that won't be of any help. But people have given some good urls so far. I like the sourceforge one because it gives links to the other sites.
