Math fomula?

Hey guys, I have this troublesome formula I want to make for martingale betting , You have two variables, one is B (amount of bets) and the other is M (money)
for example if M= 210 and I set B = 3 then the result would be 30
because 30+60+120= 210
If M= 340 and I set B = 10 than the result woud be ?
I am sorry if this info is a bit lacking, i find it hard to explain, please be gentle with the math, I am terrible at it:(

You just keep dividing M by 2 n(or 'B')-times, on the final time you will have the number.

Then make an equation like this

M = n + n/2 + n/3 ...

Solve for n
