Hey guys i was going to try this experiment to grow crystals i think i got everything. Does this look right?


>First you'll need 5 pennies or any other copper coins.

>Pour some ammonia into a clear jar about 2/3 full, that's how tall we want the crystals to grow.

>And put in 2 tablespoons of salt into the jar.

>Next get some laundry bleach and use it to fill the jar, remember don't get any on your clothes.

>Put the pennies into the jar at the point, get a straw and quickly stir then start blowing into the straw like blowing bubbles into a soft drink.

>You should be seeing crystals form after about 30 seconds.

>The CO2 in your breath helps make the crystals.

>10 minutes should make a pretty good sized one.

Fuck it! They want to grow crystals. Don't use pennies from this current century, they only contain 2.5% copper, the rest is zinc. 15 grams of copper will do. Shave the copper or foil it. Increasing the surface area of your element will make for better crystals. If your theory does in fact work. Be very selective with which gas mask you choose to wear. Certain models will not protect you from hydrochloric acids. More importantly be selective with which friend you choose to blow into the straw. It is vital he knows the risks involved. Oh yes not to forget.. You want to be outside it may help the probability of survival.
