Heeeey /sci/ I’d be really grateful if you’d help me find an article.
It needs to be something in the mainstream media (NY Times, USA Today, etc), published within the last 5 years, and dealing with ontogony, pregnancy, or development or something of that nature.
The point of this assignment is that we’re supposed to read a ‘science’ article written for a layperson, then go read the actual article in PubMed or whatever and see if or how the results have been skewed/misinterpreted etc.
Problem is that I can’t find a good article that’s interesting enough that I actually wanna write about and so I am wondering if any of you have a particular favorite that you could toss the links out for me, please.
Of course I don’t want you to do anything else – cheating is bad and it’s my job to actually do the analysis and paper and the point of this is not to have you guys do it for me. I can find the ‘real’ article and everything too so please don’t go too much out of your way.
Thanks and happy science-ing!
