Suppose that addition in R2 adds an extra one to each component so that (3,1) + (5,0) = (9,2) instead of (8,1). Which of the following rules are broken

Let & be regular addition and + be the new addition. Express all the rules in terms of & and determine if they work. 7 and 8 don't work
