free ebooks?

Some days ago, a colleague showed me this one Russian (it had Cyrillic or something similar) website that had a huge repository of free ebooks.  However, I have since forgotten about it, and all my friends deny telling me about it.  Maybe one of you guys might know something?

If such a site doesn't exist, let me know if there are good places to get a free copy of Sutherland's topology book; it's late in the quarter, and I don't feel like buying a book just for 3 weeks.

I heard of gigapedia from 4chan several months ago, but that site doesn't seem to work anymore.

I'm getting my ass kicked pretty hard in grad school.  I'm in my 3rd yr, and still without an official advisor.  My colleagues have already started publishing, and one is ready to attempt PRL.

I won't stop until my dying breath, but I have slight concerns over being able to graduate even.  This would be less of a problem if I were more willing to branch out to other sub fields of physics, but for some reason, I'm obsessed with this little niche of quantum gravity/high energy/etc.

/sci/ is a great and entertaining place, but it just eats one's time like no other.

I'll try to come back again once I'm more certain of my future.
