Assuming you're wanting intro books; I really liked using Essentials of College Physics by Surway and Vuille.

I'm in a similar situation as the OP, but what is another book you would recommend? I took a mandatory physics class in my 9th year and took an optional one my 12th, anything that can bridge the gap from high school to college level physics?

Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick, Walker. I thought this was good and its used at Deakin and RMIT universities in Geelong/Melbourne, Australia for Sci/Eng entry level physics courses (Which cover cover simple kinematics, Newtons laws, Electric fields, basic electricity, and hydrostatics/optics)
Its a good set of books, they either come in a set of 5 or a big book.
