Uberman sleep schedule

Stumbled across this just now and it piqued my interest. I've seen threads on it on 4chan occasionally, and people generally either think it's the most amazing thing ever, or a load of crap.

Anyone have any thoughts or input?

I have tried it, but it's difficult to keep up with. What accompanies this schedule feels like a sense of urgency. You feel as though you want to crawl into a nice comfortable bed all day long. Each sense of longing for a necessity thereby becomes intensified. This schedule is not for the feint of heart. I would not wish this on anyone. Only the devoutly diligent and persistent should endeavor in this schedule.

Oh, and did I forget, there is a lack of caring that comes along with it. You become more callous to people's emotions, you can easily detach yourself from interests, and you probably wouldn't have too much trouble killing someone if it became a necessity.

Am into it.
I have tried for about 10 days now and I overslept 5 times about 5 hours on average. At first I did the 20 minutes which I increased to 44 minutes now. It is not possible for me to fall asleep quickly enough.

But 2 days ago I had the first real "super rem sleep" all with self-aware ("lucid") dreaming. Even with sex in hyperspace ;)

So in general the benefits are there, but it is really hard to keep the routine. So they are right if they tell you to expect a month of awake hell :|
