You don't even need to announce the troll line. Just a few sentences into that description for the video should be enough tell anyone with any practical scientific knowledge or knowledge of the scientific method that this is hogwash. The primary scenario described as to lead to the Effect is everyday common, and yet the effect does not normally occur; that should be enough to indicate something is amiss. The two most outrageous comments in the explanation are:
Claims that [electrostatic or electromagnetic] forces alone can explain the phenomenon are patently ridiculous, and easily disproved by merely trying to use such methods to duplicate what the Hutchison Effect has achieved
Except that would not prove that the so-called "Hutchison Effect" does not use the said forces.
Given access to [10^13 J/(cm^3)], it is small wonder that the Hutchison Effect produces such bizarre phenomena.
A controlled application of energy does not produce inconsistent results between the same materials and, more importantly, the results are a function of the application/method. No matter how many times a tree is struck with lightning, it will not gain sentience on the 1/nth time or move into a different dimension on the 1/xth time; that is science fiction.
Less importantly, but no less striking, 1J equals 1N*m so his actual measurement is something like 10^6 N/(m^2)? 1N equals 1kg*m/(s^2) so 10^6 kg/m*(s^2)?
