why is it called left nullspace if it's on the right when you draw the picture of the subspaces (did the mathematicians fuck up like benjamin franklin messed up the positive and negative current)

What the fuck are you talking about? You think the way they organize those diagrams has any meaning at all? Or am I missing something?
It's called the left-hand nullspace because notationally you apply the vector on the left of the transformation instead of the right (as usual).
