Evolutionary advantage of pedophilia?

To me, pedophilia doesn't make any sense evolutionarily..

A young girl probably doesn't have the ability to raise a child..

A man would naturally want his offspring to have the best chance of survival and pick to have sex with the girls who have the best ability to ensure that.

A young girl doesn't fit that bill

So why are there so many pedos, evolutionarily speaking?

Pedophilia is sexual deviance, a particular form of homosexuality, possibly related to bestiality.  Homosexuality, bestiality, and pedophilia are all maladaptive and destructive for the obvious reasons, and prior to 20th Century Western liberalism were all eradicated whenever found for the obvious reasons.  Amerind tribes tortured boyfuckers to death whenever they were found, for instance.  This was a global human cultural universal until the late 20th Century, with the exception of some parts of Classical Greece, and some of the late Roman aristocracy, whose depravity destroyed their respective nations in short order.
