What is the EVOLUTIONARY ADVANTAGE...

of bee stingers that rip the bees abdomen out?

Wouldn't it bee less costly to the hive if the stinger could sting multiple times?

So... what is the EVOLUTIONARY ADVANTAGE?

The stinger continues to do damage while it is separated from the bee. Reusable stingers just can't do that.
Individual worker bees aren't worth much to the organism, which in the case of bees is the hive. Worker bees don't mate, and depend on the survival of the queen to spread ``their'' genes, so there is no genetic imperative towards self-preservation if the hive can be protected by suicide attacks.
