Yes it is possible, I don't care what your probability book says (Notice I didn't even use the word "probability").  You may assume the axiom of choice.

no it isn't, the reason the math dinks keep whining that 0.999... means 1 is because the math dinks defined real numbers as the sum of the sequence rather than the sequence itself.  It's their ball, and they can take it from us and go home no matter how we protest.  Or we can just quietly ignore them because really who gives a shit.
