Sodom and Gomorrah have NOTHING to do with homosexuality. The relevant passages:
Genesis 19:4-5 4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Men gang raping angels. Angels are asexual and non-human. They have been considered everything from man's equal as free will-possessing soldiers/messangers to mindless automatons of God's will to manifestations of God himself.
Rape is bad. Gang rape is worse. Because they are not human, it is considered beastiality in Biblical law. Add to that varying levels of divinity and you're in deep shit.
Anyway, it is now understood that this passage was included to address the various fertility cults that were so popular at that time. They believed that sex with a spiritual being would confer a portion of its power to you. Such a union would disrupt God's delicate balance/plan, hence "strange" in the next passage and God's justification for having to take no chances and wipe out everyone. Nowhere does it or any related passage mention homosexuality.

"Strange flesh" is refering to Genesis 19. There is no justification for interpreting it as homosexual. The only attempt I've seen to legitimately link this phrase to homosexuality involved a long series of chronological and etymological fallacies. It was rather difficult to read without laughing.
