Hey /sci/,

How the hell can something be massless? Someone told me that light is a massless energy particle or some shit like that but that can't be possible because in order for something to actually exist, it must be made of something, and that something has to have mass, regardless of how minute it is right? Or is this correct since light is suppose to have duality? Please edumacate me.

As particles become increasingly close to the speed of light, they begin to gain mass instead of speed to make up the energy gain difference, but never reaching the speed of light

Isn't it amazing how motion can almost equate to mass? Like still air has no feeling, but the wind blows and it can sweep you away. I wonder, what does this on a smaller, simpler level? Hmm...Thank you >>25.
