Ooh, great comeback. That sure showed him. What are you, twelve?

So, translated, that means you dropped out? Yeah, that will get you far, especially if you're pursuing an interest or career in a bio field.

Anyone with enough background education to be be dealing with pathogens would already have access to or at least be knowledgeable about the kind of equipment that would be needed and would know of the mountain of legal regulations that would need to be worked around. You can't just buy a virus online, nor can you simply play with them in your kitchen. Too bad you seem to have admitted to dropping out, because the best and really only place to work with them would be your university's labs. You may be able to work out a deal with them, though, if you make some calls, but I highly doubt it.

BROTIP: Stop typing like an ignorant, immature half-wit and people might show you some respect.

Smart people who do a thing called "meaningful work" teach themselves.

Yeah, in addition to their degrees and post graduate programs.

Enjoy your lifelong debt

It's called a scholarship. Most intelligent people have at least one good one or several small ones. My entire education was paid by them, except for books and supplies which my parents paid for. (They refused my efforts to pay them back, with the implied debt of taking care of them when they're old and senile.) Student loans are a last resort and up until very very recently, they were complete scams, with universities even getting kick backs for shady recommendations.

This.

A private citizen isn't going to be able to get their hands on ANYTHING easily, not even the perfectly harmless stuff. There are all sorts of regulations that must be strictly followed and private citizens simply aren't able to comply with most of them without absolutely MASSIVE funding.

Not to mention the fact that without some expensive equipment, you're not even going to be able to keep your cultures alive, let alone work with them. It isn't nearly as easy to keep a virus or bacteria going as you might think. (Shitty analogy: fish are everywhere and are easy to catch, but keeping them alive and healthy in captivity requires investment in equipment and a certain level of basic knowledge. Microbes are the same, except taken to an extreme in every respect.)

If you aren't working with a large-ish university or something, you're not going anywhere on that little fantasy, kid.

OP detected.

Because the human body is their ideal environment, numbnuts. Outside a very specific temperature range they die.

Well, let me edit that a bit, before some pedantic fag corrects me. While some bacteria and viruses simply enter a dormant state outside of ideal conditions, the vast majority will die or degenerate into simpler compounds in short order.

Some will enter into dormant states inside the host for years at a time, but that's very different.

>>16 wrong.

btw: Of course im wrong, I didnt expect to get any replies to this thread,

anyway,I respect people who go to post secondary. I just think you're wrong to think its the end of the universe if you dont. Just because I didn't go (yet) does not mean im stupid or destined to be flippin' burgers.

You could probably find bacteriophage online, but you would most likely need some kind of permit to get anything that could infect plants, livestock or humans.
