If causality is integral to reasoning then time is integral to reasoning. If time were to stop we wouldn't be able to think.

Mathematics and Philosophy are far more intertwined than you seem to realize. Hint: Logic. Being a "math nerd" doesn't just mean you passed Calculus class, you know. Also:
