Jernel has to figure out the area of her square garage. She knows that one side of the garage is equal to the length of her rabbit pen. The dimensions of the rectangular rabbit pen are 10 by 10.

What is the area of the garage?

I'm lost on how that rabbit pen is rectangular.

Well, technically squares are rectangles. A weird way of wording a question, though.

Ya, I fucking hate this PLATO bullshit. Even my teacher agrees that everything is worded half-assed.

Squares are a subset of rectangles. Every square is a rectangle.
Seriously, how the fuck old are you? Eight?

The garage is square....one side is equal to one side of the cage....the cage's sides are all ten.....the garage's side must be ten....all the garages sides must be ten......10*10 = 100.....I'm sending Falcon over to punch you.

P.S. He's also gonna kick you for that last statement of yours.

Why the fuck is her garage the same size as her rabbit pen? WTF?

And tell Jernel to do her own math next time.
