I'm in college taking Calculus I, and I don't understand it at all. It's too late to drop the class now, but I wish I had when I had the chance, and taken pre-calc first. I really feel jealous of people who are good at math. I don't get how some people are so good at it while hardly studying, while I study for hours every day and can't get it.

to learn calculus you need to do calculus, not study it. to play tennis you need to do tennis, not study it. etc

Yeah, go work through some excercies, even if they seem impossible at first. It's not a crime to look at worked examples or the answer sheet until you get the hang of the questions.

Wow, OP, you're a dumbass.

People who suck at Calculus are the people who always got tired of factoring and simplifying polynomials. Well, get used to it. That's most of what you're going to be doing.

Dear OP,

Once you get past the epsilon delta shit, the rest of the semester is easy.  CalcII should be piece of cake by then.

Then you can say fuck to math and move on to more interesting and useful areas of study such as chemistry or biochemistry or molecular biology.
