I know i am not suited for it (bad at math, logics and a skowpoke) but i have nothing to do.
I am fine with failing at it since i will become an hero anyways.
Should i try or save my time?
I mean it.

Do something in life sciences or organic chemistry if you are bad at math and logic. All you need to get good grades is to be good at memorizing, which really means you need to be a hard worker and good reader.
Plus there are hotter girls.

Forget hotter girls, there are just girls period, unlike engineering.

I can't care less for girls...i need to focus everthing on the subject.
btw:
I have bad long-time memory
I forgot almost everything i have learnt in highschool......i always learnt for tests.
But this will definitely fail.
And i only got 1 year chemistry, i have no clue about this field.
Besides that my communication-skills are really bad even worse than math or my logic-abilities.
I have looked into some semsester-written exams (physics and math)....well i have indeed no clue.
Well, i think i won't waste my time anymore, thanks for your tips anon.

Also to add:
My comprehension-talent is very low (which is referring to slowpoke).
In school, you would always have the same scheme all over againg and again.
But in university it is about how fast you comprehend a matter and the ability to make correlations.

University isn't that hard. You are there much less hours per week than school and if you use the extra time to study you will get top grades.
Personally though, I'm very lazy and prefer to do little work through the semester and "power study" before an exam. Basically go right for the past paper questions with worked solutions at hand. After a while you will be doing the material without solutions, and you wont have touched that 1000 page text book for the course.

University isn't that hard for people with talent of course.
Hahaha, i just looked into some of those scripts and what they demand from you.
I come to the conclusion that it will be absolutely a waste of time.
And don't come up with something like work hard and you can do it standardized-phrases.
I think i know myself better than any other people.
Seems i have to accept it that i will die as a dumb-fuck.
Atleast i can be egoisticall and speed up my death.

>>work hard and you can do it
This is pretty much true if you have an IQ>100.
And people with IQ<100 don't want to get engineering science degrees... their interests are somewhere else.

Well perhaps if i get the enviromment i could do it if i focus all my attention to it.
But normally people with lower IQ have not the ideal environment to begin with.
I have money-issues to beginn with since my parents (who will break up soon) can't support me.
I don't think it's worth your time. If you genuinely want to become an hero, there are better ways to do it. For instance, overdosing on any of those noxious chemicals the druggies consume will at least give you a sense of euphoria before you leave.

Being smart is at least partly psychological. Hard work can get you better grades, but won't increase your smartness noticeably. Ask yourself more questions, and spend more time thinking. Why ___? How does ___ work?
Overall, engineering science is not a great degree; most other degrees are far more useful. At Berkeley at least, an engineering physics major was basically a regular physics major with some of the physics classes replaced by a related engineering class, with added math classes. It's not very enlightening, less prestigious than a physics degree, and less useful than a real engineering degree. Since you're an heroing anyway, I guess it doesn't matter.

Why isn't engineering science not useful?
It is the combination of science and engineering.
If you don't want to spezialize too early it is a usefull degree, enabling you to spezialize in various fields (research).
And you have an overview for a project.

Not a bad idea. Welders probably make about the same if not more money than engineers anyway. Not that money is everything.

Well i am prett dull.
Anyways it is either an hero or university (in case i will fail, it is also an hero).
I would be happy if i would become an hero and they would instantly cryoconserve my body.

Engineering science is not specialized enough for any particular branch of science or engineering. I guess it's useful if you're considering specializing at a later time.

This is what i mean actually.
I don't want to specialze already in the bachelor.
A subject that enables you to participate in almost every future projects (from nuclear science/engineering to bionics)
>>17
You're smart enough to get into MIT, yet you're asking 4chan for this kind of advice? Hrm...
I can't imagine any 1 subject enabling you to participate in all future projects. You're probably better off taking the minimum requirements for 1 major of your choice, then spending the rest of the time shopping around, sampling classes from every major.
key skills: programming + linear algebra/multivariable calc
If you have those, you can gradually adapt to pretty much anything.
I have lied to myself all the time to think giving your best effort is enough.
I hate fate, though this won't change anything.
An hero, i have decided.
Thanks for the useful tips and may the intelligence be with you.

What would be a future project?
So many research facilities and groups.
But we make no real advancement.
Or atleast no significant one that changes our society and the world.
I don't realize anything in this area.
What do you think, to help for a big jump, which departement would most likely can do it?
- Material science
- Robotics
- Aerospace engineering
- Biotechnology
- Nuclear physics/ engineering
I just can't decide for one of the areas :(

have not much time left.
i think bionics is also interesting.

My head is exploding.
I just can't decide.
Basically, i am not that interested in fundamental researches if there won't be any use of it.

This thread is the proof that most of the anons here are kids.
Nobody that is studying science/engineering at an university will be hanging around here.

if you suck at math and cant do logic, dont go into any kind of engineering, not even computer science/engineering. you really need to be able to think through problems logically and systematically for that.
instead go to a trade school and learn a skill, or maybe go into more of an art or sociology type major such as film or philosophy.
also people with mental problems (like you maybe) tend to like/gravitate towards psychology, you might be interested in something like that, just because you suck at math doesn't mean you have to suck at everything.
I want to see if i am really a failure (chances are very high).
So if i fail, i have the absolute motivation to become an hero.
Then i can only hope for the next life (if something like this exists).

Philosophy = math & logic though right?
I struggle with understanding the universe and haven't read past the enlightenment because my math skills suck so bad
