Yeah! You got it! That's the nature of science! And for Religion it's about not being right, but as close to right or mostly right. Most religion is based off of the same or similar speculation with little or no scientific backing as faith and belief need to remain intangible, anonymous, ambiguous and only in the realm of imagination so that it can not be destroyed by the hand of man without sacrificing the entire human race. It is through the utilization of BOTH that I will succeed and flourish in any scientific or religious undertaking because I understand both and the absolutes and relativities of the human condition.
