There are a number of pseudoscientific concepts that have remained unproven by science.  While some can be discounted, others have a chance of gaining enough evidence to count as scientific and empirically testable.

Oh, you mean like Intelligent Design?

If they start off as pseudoscience, chances of them ever becoming science are minute. It's not about how far-fetched the claims sound, but about testable predictions.

Meditation can be, and has been scientifically tested.

Meditation is a relaxation technique. That's the only part of it that stands up to scientific scrutiny.

What would it look like?  How could we distinguish ID from Darwinian evolution?  Please to provide testable, falsifiable hypothesis regarding what we should observe if ID is correct over currently accepted models of evolution.

Herbalism needs further study.  Some herbs work great and have obvious effects, others are only believed to work and remain untested in clinical trials, and others don't work at all.

Still others have an effect opposite of what is intended.  I heard China is starting serious research into herbs that have been used throughout the centuries, but I don't know how they are progressing.

Plants (and animals) are a complicated lot, with their trillions of undocumented organic chemicals.  If only we had the time/capacity to sort them out...

I really hope for a solution to these quantum 1020 body problems.

Herbalism already produced modern medicine. What's left is just buckets of fail.
