Science and math

Dear /sci/, it is my personal opinion that math is a science, "queen of the sciences" as some guy, probably Gauss, said. As such, the name "Science AND Math" is redundant, since math is science.

Generally math is only called a science for things like division of funds at a university. I personally consider math its own field. As >>2 said in math you can definitively prove things; in sciences you can only prove by exhaustion, which most mathematicians won't accept as proof.
