Math Equation that causes happiness?

Does anyone know of one?

I hate that equation. It's trivial given how we define the exponential and trigonometric functions.

At the time when it was first written, sure it was a suprise,  but so was the fact 2^1/2 != p/q for p,q in the naturals.
