While I probably missed half your points even after reading it twice, atheism being a lack of a belief is just semantics.

Atheism = lack of belief in non-atheism = belief in atheism
Christianity = lack of belief in non-Christianity = belief in Christianity
Same with deism.

No matter how much you twist it.

Ockham's razor, argument from ignorance, all the usual debate tactics work both ways with atheism and deism.
