What is humor? WHy do we laugh? why does it exist? What is its purpose?

Monkey laughs because he sees an unusual thing, something not in the ordinary. What monkey sees makes him think, if the thinking turns to learning quickly enough then monkey-brain rewards monkey with happyness, or amusement.

Learning is rewarded because the species that don't learn are still dumb as rocks, and not successfull.
