Magic

Hello, first time on /sci/ but I was wondering is magic (Not stage magic) possible in any which way...I was just wondering

Some people do believe in spiritual magic like gentle miricles occour through religious prayers for example a healing prayer.. someone recovering from a fatal disease such as cancer.

Magic reminds me of a wizard firing a ball of light out of his hands as a weapon... this obviously is impossible so concluding magic is fictional and only occours in books/films and games.
