I've got a good grasp of abstract algebra and point-set topology. What's a good book that teaches the basics of algebraic topology?

I am merely trying to comprehend the greatness of Gilgamesh's creation! Surely He would not have given us minds and curiousity and imbued the world with such fantastic patterns if it were not an invitation to study them!

One word: Hatcher.
His is the standard book for a first course in algebraic topology. The book is free too:
http://www.math.cornell.edu/~hatcher/
The guy's website is the top ranked for site 'Hatcher'; not an easy feat I would think.
