I was wondering if there are any readily availible flammable powders. Any common household products? I'm looking for cheap stuff similar to Lycopodium powder.

25:75 Aluminum powder mixed with rust, ignited with magnesium ribbon. Don't ignite it on anything you want to keep, such as concrete slabs. Temperatures get to 4500 degrees Fahrenheit. Railroad companies use it to weld rails together on the fly. Will destroy just about anything on Earth.
Thermite is nice to know how to make, since it will melt through concrete and steel, and you can make it out of materials readily available in prison or other forms of confinement. Good to have a bit of magnesium and a butane torch handy, too, but thermite can be your friend if you need to melt large objects like prison walls or bulldozers.
Oh, and don't look straight at it, no matter how interesting it is. Sizzles your optic nerves.
