HS physics club: ideas?

Hey /sci/, lame thread, I know, but I need input. Anybody got brilliant ideas for a HS level physics club? Competitions, activities, etc? Tell me what all ya intellectual elitists would have liked to do in your geeky high school years. (Other than lose your virginity, of course. IN BEFORE PEOPLE FIXATE ON THAT LINE.)

BTW, I'm not rich, so don't tell me to build a particle accelerator or something... O_o

Build a fusion reactor.  They cost about 1,000 dollars (with the cheapest equipment) and are relatively simple to make.
