Why can't I even do basic game theory?

I have a few games here that I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

      Red
Blue[-5][-8]
    [-6][-7]

      Red
Blue[2][4]
    [8][6]

Unless I'm reading the answers in the back of the book wrong, my answers don't match up.  Please help!

use red and blue and green.

Assuming you just want saddle points (and positive scores contribute to blue), they're at -7 and 2.
