Bullet vrs. Magnet

Soo uhh... my friend just randomly asked me on AIM that if a bullet was shot at a very very powerful magnet, what would happen? I said i thought it would probably just either force its way through and hit the magnet because of the momentum it has or either be crushed by the force of the speed and the force of the magnet..He is an idiot, i asked him "how powerful of a magnet are we speaking of?" and he said "enough to reverse a bullet".. soo uhh..basically then, is there any magnet out there that this is possible? and if so couldn't like we make shields out of it? but im assuming it would be too heavy or big to carry by a human strength but yea..WHATEVER.

A powerful enough field can induce an opposing magnetic effect in any material.  Some guys levitated a frog some time ago.
