The Law of Attraction

Who else thinks this is bullshit?
I can believe this to a certain extent, but everyones goals and addictions might go a totally different way than someone else's, therefore someone has to lose. Also it takes free will and random event away.
I think human lives are controlled and made by two inside sources(addictions and goals) that make us who we are, and two outside sources(other peoples addictions and goals, and random events). The Law of Attraction just states you basically do everything if you believe you can do it.

I'm undecided, sure, it doesn't seem to make any sense scientifically, but many people swear by it, so maybe, at least on a psychological level, it may have some merit.
