Ontological Argument for the Existance of God

Name: Anonymous 2006-11-20 4:28

1. God is that than which nothing greater can be conceived.
2. It is greater to be necessary than not.
3. God must be necessary.
4. God exists

Logically speaking, God MUST exist. But what God actually IS, no one really knows. He can be energy, mass, or some sort of spiritual being. All of these three fulfill the description: cannot be created nor destroyed.

actually, i'm not a christian, nor am i an adherent to any religion.

you're addressing the idea of an omniscent and omnipotent being, and arguing that it couldn't do what it allegedly can by asserting that it would have limitations.

anyway, you can continue to place everyone who disagrees with you in the same category and just write them off.  that's a good way to go through life, if you want to be an ignorant pile of shit.
