anyone know the answer for (D°)¹?    [D0]1

is it 0?

btw this is a stupid question but x and y can count for any numbers, right?
say

y=x-2

can mean 4=6-2?

Uh, is that first one (D to the power 0) to the power of 1? It's just 1 if it is.

For the second one, we call x the independant variable, as it can take on any value within the domain, mainly all real numbers. y on the other hand is the dependant variable as it "depends" on the value of x, and will equal f(x) = x-2

1. 1
2. yes, but not rly. it actually describes the relationship between x and y without a definition.

if you are in line, and someone is infront of you, your position relative to his is y=x+1.

no matter what position in line he is, you're always +1 more than him. variable relationship.
