Not if we make a black hole. If we make a black hole (and it doesn't decay), gravity will send it careening towards the center of the earth, eating everything in its path; it will oscillate back and forth through the earth, carving away as the earth slowly crumbles to pieces. At some point we fall in the cracks and get either crushed by rubble or torn apart by tidal forces at the event horizon.

Remember that a black hole only sucks due to gravity; even if it eats the entire earth, it's only sucking us in as fast as the earth was in the first place. What's more is due to the shell theorems, orbital satellites would continue to behave normally as though the earth were never destroyed. In other words, if this were to happen, it would look TOTALLY awesome from the international space station. afk/space/
