That can't be right...the Chinese lived in an overpopulated totalitarian country, where intellectuallism was banned and with intense competition for jobs and food, yet nearly conquered the world.
However, they were retarded in that the countries they had control over were only obliged to give tributes to China. If they had only assimilated the countries into a HUGE EMPIRE THE SIZE OF ASIA, centuries before the Europeans had bothered to make ships and colonise everywhere, they would have been the only superpower today.
