Curiosity

Okay, even though psychology probably doesn't count as a real SCIIIIEEEEEENNNNNCNCCCCCE (lol), I'm gonna ask you jerks anyway. I'm doing a piece on human curiosity for one of my psychology courseworks, but I have to base some of the experiment off similar, previous investigations. My extensive knowledge of Google has not helped me with this, so I'm kind of stuck. Would any of you happy people happen to know of any studies that looked at curiosity, either in animals or humans?

(ps plz no hatin')

Psychology is the science of the modern human mind. You should know this if you are taking a course on it.
What's to understand about curiousity? Humans are curious because it was beneficial to them. Curiousity enabled the discovery of better ways to live and new tools and technologies.
