This is how your logic is about to fail:

lowest number = (-infinity)+(-infinity)+(-infinity)+...
SMALLEST number is in no way a huge negative number. Negativity simply implies number in the other direction. 0 cannot be a lowest number because 0 means no value. Smallest number is more like 1/infinity, amirite?
