No, it is not. I am learning it now (from a Python/Java background) and it's very cool. Very succinct style and an elegant (but a little cumbersome) way of treating nulls.
I still don't get that inmmutable/mutable part, but i will get it on time.
I mean what can be wrong about it? Higher order functions, traits, actor model...
